About Me

Hey, there! My name is Kayla, but you can call me Kay! I'm just a young woman on a crazy journey through life! I graduated from college in 2013 and felt completely and utterly lost so I am now pursuing a variety of activities and tasks to help me find my place and my passions in life.

My blog is all about my journey to Catholicism. I'll be sharing my challenges, thoughts and milestones with you as I go through the RCIA program. After I have completed the program, I hope to move on
to sharing reflections, prayers and bits of inspiration that I find!

My blog title "Where you go, I will go" is from the story of Ruth, which was always one of my favorite Bible stories when I was growing up. Ruth's story inspires a loyalty, love and trust that is difficult to find and maintain in today's world, but nonetheless is how I aspire to be in all of my relationships.

Two of my dearest friends, J and Liv, are frequently mentioned throughout my posts because they are real-life people who have the loyalty, love and trust that Ruth so boldly possessed. They have been so

supportive of and inspirational for me during these beginning stages of my faith journey, and I fully expect that they will be by my side for each challenge or celebration that will come my way in the future.

These two women are wonderful examples of Sirach 6:14-16 "Faithful friends are a sturdy shelter, whoever finds one has found a treasure. Faithful friends are beyond price, no amount can balance their worth. Faithful friends are life-saving medicine and those who love the Lord will find them." They are the two women who keep me strong when I think I can't move on. I am

incredibly grateful for their friendship, love and never-ending encouragement and support!

So what else is interesting about me besides my amazing friends? Well, I'm ridiculously obsessed with the movie Pride and Prejudice - the Keira Knightly version. I have had it playing repeatedly for the past month at least and I can pretty much quote it in its entirety now (especially the scene where Darcy proposes the second time - oh my heart!)

I love to read, bake and sew and I have an obscene amount of jigsaw puzzles that I have put together and kept. I'm crafty and organized and I have a shopping addiction. Oh! I'm also beginning to learn piano! I think that's pretty much me in a nutshell!

I hope you enjoy following along on my journey! Feel free to comment and share your experiences with me too!

Pax,
Kay
